Their unusual size and bone structure could have been the result of an adaptation to the extreme conditions of the Siberian Paleolithic. It is not known whether it is related to the human species or to other species discovered to date.<\/p>\n<p>The second photo was taken upon arrival of the remains at the Museum of Natural Sciences in St. Petersburg.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Descubiertos por el arque\u00f3logo ruso, Dr. Mikhail Ivanov, en un remoto pueblo de Siberia en 1878, estos restos pertenecen a una desconocida especie extinta morfol\u00f3gicamente similar al humano moderno, que habr\u00eda habitado la regi\u00f3n hace millones de a\u00f1os.
